Terms of Service

1. Acceptance of terms

By creating an account or using the Nriquo platform ("Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service. We may update these terms from time to time, and continued use after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 13 years of age to use Nriquo. By using the Service, you represent that you meet this age requirement. If you are under 18, you should have the consent of a parent or guardian.

3. Your account

You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account and for all activity that occurs under it. You agree to provide accurate information when creating your profile. You may not impersonate another person or create accounts for the purpose of violating these terms or harassing other users. We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms.

4. User-generated content

Nriquo allows you to create posts, comments, and other content ("User Content"). You retain ownership of your User Content, but by posting it on Nriquo you grant us a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to display, distribute, and store your content as part of operating the Service.

You are solely responsible for your User Content. You agree not to post content that is illegal, defamatory, harassing, threatening, hateful, sexually explicit, or that infringes on the intellectual property rights of others. We reserve the right to remove any content that violates these terms or is otherwise objectionable, at our sole discretion.

4a. Community Guidelines — Zero Tolerance Policy

Nriquo has a zero tolerance policy for objectionable content and abusive users. The following types of content and behavior are strictly prohibited:

Prohibited content: hate speech, harassment, bullying, threats of violence, sexually explicit material, spam, scams, misinformation, content that promotes illegal activities, doxxing or sharing personal information of others without consent, and any content targeting individuals or groups based on race, ethnicity, religion, gender, sexual orientation, disability, or national origin.

Enforcement: Users can report objectionable content or abusive users using the in-app reporting feature. All reports are reviewed within 24 hours. Content that violates these guidelines will be removed immediately, and the user who posted the offending content will be permanently banned from the platform.

Your responsibilities: You can delete your own posts at any time. You can block abusive users to prevent them from appearing in your feed. If you encounter content that violates these guidelines, please report it immediately using the in-app report feature or by emailing us at contact@nriquo.com.

5. Anonymous posting

Nriquo offers the ability to post anonymously. While your identity is hidden from other users when posting anonymously, your user ID is retained internally for moderation and safety purposes. Anonymous posting does not grant immunity from these terms — all rules regarding content and conduct apply equally to anonymous posts.

6. AI Advisor

The NRI Advisor feature provides AI-generated responses to questions about NRI-related topics. These responses are for informational purposes only and do not constitute legal, financial, tax, or professional advice. You should consult qualified professionals before making decisions based on AI-generated information. We do not guarantee the accuracy, completeness, or timeliness of AI responses.

7. Prohibited conduct

You agree not to: use the Service for any unlawful purpose, harass or bully other users, post spam or unsolicited promotions, attempt to gain unauthorized access to the Service or other users' accounts, use automated means to scrape or collect data from the platform, interfere with or disrupt the Service or its infrastructure, or circumvent any content moderation or safety measures.

8. Intellectual property

The Nriquo name, logo, and all original content, features, and functionality of the Service are owned by Nriquo and are protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws. You may not copy, modify, or distribute any part of the Service without our prior written consent.

9. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your access to the Service at any time, with or without cause, and with or without notice. You may delete your account at any time by contacting us. Upon termination, your right to use the Service ceases immediately. Provisions that by their nature should survive termination will remain in effect.

10. Disclaimers

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, either express or implied. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or secure. We are not responsible for any content posted by users or any third-party content displayed on the platform, including news articles sourced from external providers.

11. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Nriquo shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the Service, including but not limited to loss of data, loss of profits, or damages resulting from reliance on AI-generated content.

12. Governing law

These terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with applicable laws. Any disputes arising from these terms or the Service shall be resolved through good-faith negotiation, and if necessary, through binding arbitration.
